Eligibility Criteria (Level Wise)
1. TET Primary Teacher (Class 1-5)
- Bachelor's Degree in any stream with D.El.Ed (Final Year Passed / Appearing).
- OR Bachelor's Degree with minimum 50% marks / Master's Degree with B.Ed (Passed / Appearing).
- OR Bachelor's Degree with minimum 45% marks / Master's Degree with B.Ed (Passed / Appearing) as per NCTE norms.
- OR 10+2 (Intermediate) with 50% marks and 4-Year B.El.Ed course.
2. TET Upper Primary Teacher (Class 6-8)
- Bachelor's / Master's Degree with 50% marks and B.Ed / B.Ed Special Education (Passed / Appearing).
- OR Bachelor's / Master's Degree with 2-Year BTC (D.El.Ed) Training Passed.
- OR 10+2 Intermediate with 50% marks and 4-Year B.El.Ed / B.Sc.Ed course.
- OR Bachelor's Degree with 45% marks / Master's Degree with B.Ed as per NCTE norms.
Mode of Selection
The selection process for UPTET 2026 consists of:
